Why is chakra alignment important?

First, let's figure out the chakras ("wheels" in Sanskrit)

Chakras are seen as energy wheels constantly rotating to produce a combination of energy and life force in our bodies. Each one is connected to a different spinal center and physiological organ system they control, such as digestion, respiration, and reproduction. Chakras have specific functions that support our health, feelings, ideas, and personal development.

There are seven main chakras recognized, each one with a distinct color, name, shape, function, and position in the body.

Our interactions, discussions, actions, thoughts, beliefs, environment, self-care, objectives, and interests all affect the flow of energy through our bodies.

What is chakra balancing?

The concept of healing through chakras introduces us to the powers and energies that reside inside of us and makes us use them to heal our minds, emotions, and body.

When our chakras are in harmony and functioning smoothly, we feel a sense of completeness in our minds, bodies, and souls. On the other hand, life can be difficult when the chakras are out of balance.

The chakra system is internal and invisible, which is why if any of the chakras are out of balance, the only way to identify them is through some symptoms.

Chakra balancing focuses on directing energy into the seven chakras. The goal is to remove any chakra blockages and encourage a free flow of energy to reestablish equilibrium and a sense of well-being.

You might need some outside help to introduce yourself to chakras and ways to heal them, but ultimately, you are the one that cures yourself. Personal healing is your responsibility.

At Clear Energy Flow, Chakra balancing became an essential part of most of our services to ensure you get the highest benefits from our treatments. However, we encourage you to maintain healthy energy hygiene.

Just like taking care of your physical body, your etheric system requires regular care and attention.

Balancing your chakras, channeling your emotions, forgiving, living in the present, and managing your thoughts and beliefs are essential to work along your diet and body care to remain healthy and happy.

It is important to understand the different chakras that are present within us and identify when they are blocked and how to heal them.

Here are some basic information on the seven chakras to help you understand them better:

Root Chakra

  • Location: Base of the spine

  • Color: Red

  • Element: Earth

This chakra represents roots and/or fundamental needs, including family, water, food, and shelter.

When this chakra is in balance, you feel connected, at peace with yourself and your surroundings, safe, comfortable, and secure. As a result, our lives go smoothly along with steady vitality.

When this chakra is not in harmony, life is difficult. We can experience insecurity and fear, and our survival mode activates. This may result in gaining weight, constipation, fatigue, depression, anxiety, and stress. Fears of being alive, guilt.

You may also experience some physical issues such as chronic lower back pain, sciatica, hemorrhoids, constipation, and immune system diseases, just to give you a few.

What you can do to help:

Spend time in nature, find some activities where you can be close to the earth (like pottery), walk barefoot, and eat root vegetables.

Sacral Chakra

  • Location: Below the belly bottom

  • Color: Orange

  • Element: Water

This chakra represents the sexual and creative energy within your body. It oversees the reproductive organs.

When this chakra is in balance, your life is full of abundance, creativity, movement, procreation, pleasure, and happy relationships.

When this chakra is not in harmony, you feel instability, apprehension about change, sexual dysfunction, depression, lack of inspiration, persistent low-back discomfort, reproductive problems, and other lower-pelvic problems. You also can have different gynecological problems and issues with your prostate or bladder.

What you can do to help:

You can do some activities involving water (like swimming or kayaking) or take baths. Dancing and playing hula hoop, but also writing and painting can help.

Solar Plexus Chakra

This chakra represents your power, self-worth, confidence, and sense of who you are.

When this chakra is in balance, you feel whole and centered, cultivate your self-power in healthy ways, and are in touch with your inner self. You are calm and at peace.

When this chakra is not in harmony, you may be detached from reality. You can experience digestive problems, issues with your pancreas, stomach, liver, spleen, gall bladder, and intestine. You may also underestimate yourself and have difficulties trusting or making decisions.

When this chakra is not in harmony, you may experience issues with love and hate, resentment, grief, self-centeredness, loneliness, forgiveness, compassion, hope, and trust. The heart chakra is connected with the heart, lungs, circulatory system, shoulders, arms, ribs, and breasts, resulting in heart attack, asthma, lung cancer, pneumonia, breast cancer, or high blood pressure.

You are able to make decisions and confront obstacles in life with confidence, the ego fades into the background, and you may start to figure out what you genuinely value in life.

When this chakra is not in harmony, you may be cynical, overly logical, and not trusting. You have a deep knowing beyond what you can physically see, and you are in touch with your clairvoyance. You might experience issues related to the eyes, ears, sinuses, brain, and nervous system.

Crown Chakra

You understand that you are an individual reflection of the divine, trust that you are connected to the divine, and understand that your identity goes beyond the physical form. You are also more able to elevate your consciousness easily.

When this chakra is not in harmony, you may feel totally disconnected from the divine/source/universe… you may even have anger at god. You can have difficulty trusting your path and your life in general. You can feel depressed, alone, unsatisfied with life, and unable to let go of anxiety and fears. Physically, it might show up as energetic disorders, depression, chronic exhaustion, extreme sensitivity to light/sound or other environmental factors, confusion, apathy, and alienation.

What you can do to help yourself:

Meditating and engaging in other spiritual activities such as reading spiritual books, increasing your spiritual awareness, and stargazing.

Conclusion

Remember, how you feel and interact with experiences in your life depends on the condition of your chakras and energy field. A healthy balanced Chakra is connected to a healthy lifestyle, extremely beneficial for your overall physical and mental health. It is worth the try!
